signs of fall everywhere (and now winter since it has snowed this weekend). we’ve been cozying up with sweet treats and the company of friends. and now the restaurant is on its last leg of inspections so we’re busy with server training and getting to know the wines (the fermenting grapes were over at the infinite monkey theorem). it’s getting close and we are anxious to be able to serve the people of denver really great food in a really unique environment.

The restaurant sounds amazing. Been reading your blog since the Qdoba foodie photo event and love the new look. Congrats!

  2. Your big post on the Lumineers a few months ago was the first post I read on your blog & I bought their album straight away. LOVE them. I also bought it for a friend as a wedding present (he has a blog about folk music, Timber and Steel, so it’s right up his alley).

Congrats on the restaurant nearing completion. I can’t believe you’ve had snow already. We’re heading towards 41 again this week. Pool time for sure.
And your wonderful new blog design has spurred me to begin a little spruce up of my blog. I love it. x

Wow. Your restaurant looks amazing! If we ever find ourselves in Denver, we’ll certainly come by for a bite.

And that Tricky People article gave me chills! Before I became a mom, I worked in a ER that had a pediatrics area and we, unfortunately, dealt with child abuse. 99.9% of the time, it was from someone the family knew. And those ‘bad people’ used trickery to gain the trust of all involved. Hopefully that article and that woman’s work help stop a child from abuse.

On a lighter note, your blog design is awesome! So hip. : )

Thanks for posting that Tricky People article… it makes me shudder to think of anything like that ever happening to ANY child… especially now that I have my own. Ugh! I pinned the whole “Safely Ever After” website to my Pinterest parenting board so I can refer back to it. As awful as it is to think about, it’s so important to teach our kids safety.

  5. The “tricky people” post is amazing – thank you, thank you.
