coffee date at our house with jenny, avery, and little elsa.
i got to know jenny thru jp’s and my jaunts to happy coffee. jenny’s hubby, scott, owns happy and salvagetti. since i carry their water bottle around with me wherever i go, our midwife, maren–upon seeing this water bottle–informed me she had been there during jenny’s home birth of handsome avery a little over two years ago. jenny and i got to talking about this coincidence. she has been so great in encouraging me and swapping mama war stories and being a very wonderful friend. jp and i have been so blessed to meet other like-minded, unique, thoughtful families through our choices in small-business ownership and family-making.
avery (shown above in amazing super-person overalls) played lovingly and gently with ramona bean. jenny and i chatted over playing and cooing babies and we fawned over her newest addition to their family, beautiful elsa marie, with a head full of hair. i promise i’ll get photos of her next time around. this date i was too entertained by avery’s goodness and playfulness towards ramona.
p.s. that kilim runner is for sale. leave a comment below with a way to get a hold of you if you’re interested.
