ritual chocolate [giveaway closed]
you guys. i love chocolate. and i’ve had some pretty good chocolate in my days.
and now jp and i have discovered the chocolate of all chocolates. and it’s from denver. and the factory is just up the street from crema. and i’m not saying it’s so good bc it’s local and a kindred local business (and we now carry it in the shop). i’m saying it is so good bc it is the best. really. i think it’s even better than these guys and those guys are really good.
ritual chocolate is a colorado craft chocolate and, though i’m no food critic, i’ll offer up these descriptors: smooth, subtle, sincere.
i have one bar of chocolate and two chocolate discs to send to one reader (usa and canada only oh, what the hell, everybody has a chance!).
just leave a comment below with where you live and what local product you’re proud of and i’ll pick a winner thursday night, 8:00 PM mountain time.

I had an elaborate response in my head before I saw the other replies, so I am going to go with it anyway. I live in Brooklyn, which is a mecca of all things local. So so many wonderful artisan food and craft items. However, I am originally from Chicago, and when I was last home I went to the Haymaker Shop, my favorite spot for beautifully handmade items from Chicago, most of which are sustainably sourced. I purchased a tote bag there that says “What Chicago Makes Makes Chicago” and now I proudly carry that bag around Brooklyn. I don’t think this is the response you were going for, but that’s what came to mind. I live in Brooklyn and I am proud of my Chicago tote. Ha.
Never mind all that. Brooklyn, NY. McClure’s Garlic Dill Pickles.
