laundry day

for washing clothes we use charlie’s soap. it’s amazing and seems to work a lot better than any seventh generation or other ‘natural’ detergent found at target. for extra-dirty rags and jp’s cooking clothes i add borax as a booster. (we’re considering switching to charlie’s laundry booster, which is much gentler).

we hang the wet clothes on the line in the backyard. the sun is great for bleaching the whites and the arid weather we have in colorado dries them in a flash.
